Don’t Explain Your Feelings!

with 2 comments

People here in our town are used to seeing me with a SMILE ON MY FACE! Always.

They even ask me how I have fun with corny jokes and simple things.

They are used to seeing me laughing and talking.

THAT’S WHY WHENEVER I LOOK GLOOMY AND SAD, THEY GET CURIOUS.

Then, ALL OF THEM will ask me the same question OVER and OVER AGAIN.

“What’s wrong KC?”

Sometimes, I answer their question.

Most of the time, I don’t want to talk.

And that would be rude, so, when I don’t feel good,

I ALWAYS FAKE A SMILE.

To make it seem that nothings wrong.

TO AVOID ANSWERING QUESTIONS.

“Don’t explain your feelings, they’re yours.” – Paulo Coelho

Do you know a better thing to do, whenever you feel that way?

P.S.

I miss writing long blogs. I miss you wordpress people!!!

I’ll try to be back♥

A Page In My Journal #1

with 2 comments

December 8, 2009

I AM, RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT,

FIGHTING TEARS BACK FROM MY TEAR DUCT.

:’(

“DON’T FLOW” - I told my tears.

“BECAUSE IF YOU DO,

WE WILL BOTH CRY IN VAIN.

YOU DON’T WANT THAT,

DO YOU?”

♥ ♥ ♥

I am going through my old journal.

and I am amaze (I think it is absurd and funny actually!) how I talk to myself.

THE ONE YOU’LL HAVE TO YOURSELF”

Honesty means KIDS

with 2 comments

The usual scenario is that a kid or a young adult is not allowed or often stopped from sharing or giving his/her own opinion on matters concerning the elders.

KIDS are the most honest person you’ll ever meet because they say exactly what is going on inside their head. In other words THEY HAVEN’T LEARNED YET HOW TO LIE.

So…Elders say Kids are the most honest, yet they seldom acknowledge what kids has to say.

Is it because we, older ones, can’t accept the harsh truth?

Maybe.

Or is it because we prefer believing and living a convenient lie?

Can be.

♦ ♦ ♦

Being a kid (actually up until now that I am a young adult), I am always prevented to speak up. Always told to keep the thoughts (which they do not approved of) to myself.

Our elders can really stop me from talking, BUT they can never stop me  from having my very own opinion forming in my head.

I say, “let the children talk, if they are prevented from speaking up their thoughts, we can never correct the FOUL opinion they have.”

PS: I admit my nose grows like Pinocchio’s half the time.

It is how you see it

with 12 comments

I was a zombie last night or early morning. I was awake till 4:00 am.

So, please excuse the “frustrated artist” that have risen from me again last night or this early morning – whatever it is.

“It’s how you see it”

That phrase kept running through my head last night slash morning.

I was always a mediator when 2 friends of mine have disagreements. And always I have seen how different their perception can be on the same matter.

Perceptions can cause disagreements.

“First impressions don’t last.”

Why is that?

I judge and picture a person based on how I see her, in our conversation, and how I see her attitude towards other people – sometimes even how she dress up.

People always say to me–

“You are an open book.” “I know what you are thinking!.”

DO THEY REALLY KNOW? That is how they see me.

But when I get to ask them what they know about what’s on my mind — It is always a very different story.

I say “FIRST IMPRESSIONS will last until we decided to ask people what do they really think and not make our own assumptions based on how we see them.”

“IT’S HOW WE SEE IT”

CoolnWeird is a very sensitive homo sapien human being. She gets hurt because she takes some matters seriously until she’ll cry her heart out.

Then she’ll realize (only after she gets eye bags) it is not the person or the words that is giving her pain. IT IS CoolnWEIRD herself – who makes her cry.

WHY?

YOU are hurting because you think and you see that you should be hurt, but actually you can choose not to get hurt and be  affected.

“Always look at the BRIGHT SIDE” – someone always tell me that.

CONSTANT SATISFACTION – exists?

with 9 comments

satisfaction

The first thing I learned in the Principles of Marketing is the word SATISFACTION.

The reason behind innovation – SATISFACTION.

The reason of buying – SATISFACTION.

The reason of selling – SATISFACTION.

The reason for hard work – SATISFACTION.

etcetera. etcetera. etcetera.

We are all working hard to achieve this state of sacred satisfaction. We create stuff and buy things with the seal of “Satisfaction Guaranteed” – but what we get is a temporary state of contentment.

Constant Satisfaction doesn’t exist. —–

—-Ooops! Maybe it does. But the only thing I could think of to provide constant satisfaction is -”when we learned to be satisfied for everything we have and everything we will have.” [oh!please give me a better version of this phrase]

Only Time Can Tell…

with 3 comments

Not more 5 years ago I bought a book entitled “LES MISERABLES” authored by Victor Hugo. That time I don’t really read classic novels because I was more interested in contemporary writings. I bought the book because of Lea Salonga. I am a fan and she played a role in Les Miserables that time. I tried reading the book several times but I never really succeeded in finishing the 1st chapter of the book. That time, I think it was BORING, and I always fell asleep every time I try to read it (that’s true!). So the book stayed on my book rack for years.

It was only last year that I started reading it again, and I managed to read the book cover to cover. At first I was reading the book because of a Book Review that I have to do for Literature Class. I was actually asking my Professor to let me read the book which I like such as Fiction authored by John Grisham, she said NO. So, I passed another book authored by Danielle Steel, she said NO. I passed another one authored by Sidney Sheldon, she firmly said NO. Then I thought of the book I never really read “LES MISERABLES”, so I came up to her again, although I don’t have the book to present to her, she said a big YES when I asked if I could read Victor Hugo’s “Les Miserables.”

But I am getting worried that time, because I already tried reading the book several times and I know it is just a tool to make me sleep. I forced myself to read the book, but when I get into the climax of the story, I realized I wasn’t forcing myself anymore and I enjoyed the novel, more than I enjoyed the contemporary novels I have read. It was because I am learning and enjoying at the same time.

Lesson Learned From the Book:

We have the power to change no matter how crazy the things we have done before. Just believe you can and everything will fall into place.

Don’t think that you are better than anyone, because you are not really. If you did think it, you are already practicing discrimination which is the start of all evil.

Lesson Learned Not From the Book:

There is time for everything. Maybe at the time when I was trying to read the book, it wasn’t my time to appreciate Classic Works. When I read it last year, I fell inlove with the book, and I already knew that it was my time to appreciate it.

Just like Enya’s songs. I never liked it before but now, I’m head over heels with Enya’s songs.

no title – just my thoughts

with 4 comments

It is funny how ironic the world is.

“You see real people, so they are tangible, you join them, converse with them and mingle with them, but you can’t really feel them.

“And there are those people you don’t see (like my friends on the cyberspace, especially on wordpress), so they are intangible, your conversation starts, you share your thoughts, although you walk different horizons, you can feel that you are always connected with them. You can’t even touch or see  them, but you can definitely feel them.”
